The Lvl-80 Boost is intended to bring a character up to the point where it is ready to begin HoT content. That means it's just like you made a pre-HoT character and are now starting. Thus you do not have any HoT content including the Chronomancer skills. You need to earn the hero points to completely unlock it. There are 202 hero challenges right now, and there will be more in the new Heart of Thorns zones. It will only take 60 points to unlock the traits for the elite specialization, and assuming it gives 1 healing / 3 utility / 1 elite skill of the new skill type, it will take 2 + 3 + 4 + 4 + 9 = 22 points to unlock the skills. A lot of people do hero runs in HoT, and they get hero points. Others run from green star to green star trying to do story only to run into a barrier when their masteries aren't trained. I did hero points and mastery points, while exploring the zones, while doing the event chains at each outpost and story instances, all pretty much at the same If you level from 1-80 and do no other challenges, you get enough HPs to finish the core skills and traits. That is it. No left overs. (Because these lines need to be fully completed before you spend points in Elite lines)Fully unlocking core skills =98 hero points.Fully unlocking core traits =300 hero points.=398. 3. as pointed out by others, hero points certainly do not take 15 hours and if they do, you really need to read up, watch some guides and improve on your game play as well as game knowledge. There are enough guides around to tackle this. A straitforward approach would be to join hero point trains. Add a Comment. QuietRock • 2 yr. ago. This is a response I made to someone else asking what to do now that they are level 80. Most of it should apply if you are looking for direction with PvE. • Start PoF story and get the Raptor. • Quit PoF story, start HoT story and get your glider. *Correction at 07:01 - Max usable Scroll of Desert Heroics and Jade Heroics are 29 units and 31 units respectively, not 290 and 310 units. One of the perks o One of the things that really got me into GW2 was the fashion. I'm really interested in some of the elite spec's special armor skins (well, all of them except berserker). To waste as little of my time as possible, I was wondering the fastest way to acquire the necessary hundreds of HPs to max the an elite spec. Go into jungle > do hero points. 250 Hero Points (Elite Specialization) You can unlock skills by spending hero points in the training tab inside the hero panel. Hero points are earned by leveling up and by completing hero challenges found throughout Tyria. Hero points are character currencies used to progress characters through training skills and traits. Guild Wars 2 Discussion. Buying mastery points. It should be possible to use Spirit shards for buying mastery points, and toggle between mastery XP or shards after 80. Nobody thinks it's a big deal when Proof of Heroics are spent on hero points Missing out on other things they can be spent on is enough sacrifice. CUZiHfc.
